Two North Carolina firefighters were injured when their apparatus overturned as they were headed to an emergency Monday.
Corinth-Holders Volunteer Fire Department crews were responding to a fire at about 8 p.m. along Highway 96 in Zebulon, WTVD-TV reports. That's when an apparatus rolled over, shutting the road down for hours.
The crash sent two firefighters to the hospital with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening. The passenger was released from the hospital, while the driver was still having more tests conducted.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
This is the second accident with a Wake County fire department to occur in the past three days. No one was hurt in a crash involving an Erwin Fire Department apparatus Saturday.
